Clouded Judgement Interview & East Project Podcast Episode 6

Right then... Next up on the East Project Podcast is one of our acts for our party at Nomad on Saturday 9th February.

We welcome along a duo, Rob Morley & David French, who go by the name of Clouded Judgement! They have been working away and creating some amazing tracks and we think you need to keep an eye out for these guys! Their podcast is a little taste of what to expect on the night. Enjoy!!

INTERVIEW:

1. What you guys up to at the moment?

We're in the studio at the moment working on some new beats as well as working on our record label "DOG Records" with our friend, Richard Myles. It's going pretty well with the label receiving front page coverage from Beatport in their Nu Disco section.

2. Clouded judgement - there are two of you, so tell us a bit about yourselves and how it all started.

It all started in April last year.  We'd both been playing with the idea of trying our hand at music so in the end, we grabbed a copy of Logic and that was it.  We had plans to move to Ibiza for the Summer so all of our effort wen't into learning to produce and to see if it was something we could progress in.

3. What producers and djs are smashing it for you at present?

There's so many people doing big things now.  Lee M Kelsall is producing some big tunes and smashing it.  Rob Made's got some killer vibes as well and Sleazy Deep has some big tunes coming out.  Plus not forgetting our pals Toughlove, expect big things from them over 2013.

Adam Banks & Sion Elliot are the ones to watch this year though.  Adam's Digital Delight E.P is due this year & Sion's with MTA now, so we're looking forward to their releases.  Amine Edge is going from strength to strength as well with some exciting releases due this year & a new label as well (CUFF).

Apart from that, we're really digging the guys over in Ecuador, Andre Salmon, James Stewart, Karate Biycycle. . The list goes on.

4. What can East Project expect from a clouded Judgement set?

What can East Project expect from our set......Big Basslines!! We look to try and paint a picture in our sets and we like to vary from Nu Disco to Deep House, with a few unique tracks in there to switch it up.

5. What is your drink of choice on a night out?

Dave: JD n' Coke does it for me! Make it a double.
Rob: Give me a couple of Koppabergs and ill be sweet!

Thanks Guys and see you on Saturday 9th February @ Nomad (58 Old Street, EC1V 9AJ)!!
